What We Decided

We decided that we would have our opening clip as a thriller.

The music will be high-pitched violins and cellos they will be fading in and out all the way through the film this will create tension as they will fade in to intensify a certain clip. The location for our film will be at Mousehold during the night, I think this is a good location as it is the woods and there are a lot of trees to hide behind and it will be easy to make it look like something was moving in the dark. This also means that it will make the villain in our film scarier as you will not be able to see who it is or what it is.

We will have two cameras, one filming the people acting and another camera filming the person filming the actors. A good decision was to put clips from both cameras to make it look more realistic. This is one of the ideas from the Blair Witch, they would transfer from one camera to another throughout the film. We are going to be filming people who are camping for the weekend. The story line is; friends are camping when they realise that they cannot find one of their friends. This is when we decided that we could go two ways one could be that they all split up and you would see what happened to everyone individually but then someone foresees the future and sees what happens so stops them from splitting up but they just happen to die another way. (This idea came from Final Destination) the other way was they do not split up but they just disappear randomly, For example there could be a noise so everyone looks in one direction and then they turn back and one of their friends have disappeared. However we then decided that we would put the end at the beginning therefore the opening scene would be missing posters at the beginning and then it would go black and there would be heavy breathing in the back ground then it would go back to the beginning so you would then see people setting up the tents and things like that. We decided this because we thought that people would want to know what was going on so would carry on watching it to find out, it would entice the audience. These ideas came from films like Blair Witch project and final destination.

The costumes will be normal clothes for camping warm clothes like jeans and Hoodie and boots. The props we will need will be a tent, sleeping bags, torches a camera.

We thought we would add extra sounds to make them stand out, for example we would create the noises of footsteps and heavy breathing.
