Filming Second Attempt

When starting to edit our first footage we then realised that our idea was very hard to film as we wanted to film it at night so we had the full advantage of the darkness. However it was not on our side we were not able to see anything as we would need a lot of light to be able to see all of the actors and to see the mise-en-scene, therefore we thought it would be best to change the story into something more possible that we could achieve in the time space provided.

We thought about filming it during the day and then when it came to editing we would change it to black and white and then also change the saturation of the film which would then make it look as if it was filmed at night, However we tried this and it didn't look very realistic or scary therefore we decided not to do that.

Therefore we changed the story from friends camping in the forest and they all go missing to people staying in a house when this ghost from the house emerges Its a 'girl' who first appears with bruises on her face and then appears with blood all up her arms and blood over her face. In the film you do not see the people in the house as we have filmed it from the end backwards therefore the audience sees the ending at the begining and they then have to watch the film to work out how they got to the end.

we thought of this as we have based our ideas on the films The ring and the grudge, we thought these were appropriate as The grudge has a girl looking scary and mysterious and hunts people down and then kills them, the ring is about people getting a phone call and then dying in freak accidents.
